My Digital Skills
A digital skills self-assessment tool for Queensland public library and Indigenous Knowledge Centre (IKC) staff.
The My Digital Skills self-assessment tool will help public library and IKC staff in Queensland to consider their current digital skills level and how confident they are to help their community to get online. It offers personalised recommendations for next steps to improve your skills.
The responses provided by staff across the state will provide State Library of Queensland with baseline data that will help inform future professional development opportunities and resource development.
How it works
You will be asked a series of questions. Each question has a range of options you can pick from to say how confident you feel and what you most want to learn more about.
The questions ask you about your skills, knowledge and confidence to use digital technology, and how confident you are to help other people in your library or IKC to build their digital skills.
Please try to choose the options that best describes YOU for each of them. This will give the most accurate estimate of your digital capabilities.
It should take you around 10 minutes to complete. At the end of the quiz you will get a report on your levels of digital skills, with suggested learning pathways to increase your skills level and confidence.
