How it works

You will be asked a series of questions. Each question has a range of options you can pick from to say how confident you feel and what you most want to learn more about.

The questions ask you about your skills, knowledge and confidence in helping other people in your community to build their digital skills.

Please try to choose the options that best describes YOU for each of them. This will give the most accurate estimate of your capabilities.

It should take you around 10 minutes to complete. At the end of the quiz you will get a report on your level of confidence, with suggested learning pathways to increase your skills.

Digital Mentor Skills Checker 'Your Progress'

A digital skills self-assessment tool for Digital Mentors participating in the Be Connected Capacity Builder program.

This self-assessment tool will help Digital Mentors to consider how they have improved in confidence and skills in helping their community to get online. It offers personalised recommendations for next steps to continue improving your skills.

Responses will also provide Lead Digital Mentors and Good Things with updated information that will help plan future training and support sessions.

We care about your privacy

You will be asked to enter some personal details to see your results.

Your responses will be stored by Good Things in line with our privacy policy. We will de-identify information collected in this form when using it for service reporting and improvement purposes required by our Australian Government funders.

You can choose to show a copy of the results to the people who you are working with to improve your mentoring skills.
